Leonard Auction, founded by auctioneer and appraiser John Leonard, began selling antiques, collectibles & furniture on eBay in 1999. In 2004, we began holding antiques-collectibles-public auctions, estate sales to compliment our online sales. After two years of exceptional growth, we opened our first auction house in Naperville, Illinois. Continuing to grow at an unprecedented rate, we quickly outgrew our first auction house and in September 2007 moved to our current location in Addison, Illinois.
We are a member of the Illinois State Auctioneers Association, Certified Appraisers Guild of America (CAGA), and a registered Trading Assistant and Gold Power Seller on eBay. We have sold a variety of antiques & collectibles including (but certainly not limited to): furniture, fine art & sculpture, jewelry, dolls, clocks, cars, tractors, books, phones, china, desks, pottery, crystal, bottles, radios, watches, silver, glass, tools and slot machines. Whether you want to sell a single item, or an entire estate or business, we have a solution that will fit your needs.
Leonard Auction conducts twelve 19th & 20th Century Antique & Collectible auctions throughout the year on the third Saturday of each month. Many months also feature a specialty theme including "Coins & Currency," "Toys, Trains & Advertising," and "Books & Paper." In addition to our regular auction schedule we conduct 6 - 8 select auctions throughout the year. These sales are also known as "conducted house sales" and allow us to settle estates in situations where an auction is not feasible. We have been noted for conducting such high profile sales as the 3-Day Sale at Benedictine Sisters' Sacred Heart Monastery. |
